Updated again thanks to bigcyco1, Brandon402, hellfire24 & phenom90

Hi,

I choose the i7-3770 instead of the i7-3770k because virtualization would be one of the tasks that I'll be using the PC for. I added the aftermarket Cooler Master Hyper because as I researched, when the processor reached 3.9Ghz on turbo mode, the Intel CPU fan doesn't do a good job. I choose the motherboard because I looks soild & it has Intel turbo mode technology which should boost the processor frequency. I choose 16GB of RAM for virtualization purposes. I won't be playing much games but I might from time-to-time, plus I'll want to hook my CPU to 3 monitors that's why I choose the EVGA GeForce GTX 560 Ti 1GB Video Card.

So, my main concerns are:
1. Are the above parts compatible together?
2. Is the PSU enough to run all hardware smoothly?
3. Will the case fit all the components neatly?

Thanks! :ange:

Thanks for your reply.

1. Would this graphics card be good? EVGA GeForce GTX670
2. Would there be any performance issues if I go for the RAM model that you proposed? and they only reason that you had to change the RAM that I selected was that it won't fit, right?

Yes the GTX 670 would be much better good choice also this is the one you want http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-SuperClocked-Dual-Link-Graphics-04G-P4-2673-KR/dp/B007Z3HZLM/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1341945035&sr=8-3&keywords=gtx+670+ftw it comes with lifetime warranty. As for the ram there would be no difference in performance it's because the ram you selected has big heat sinks which will conflict with your aftermarket heat sink that's why i suggested low profile there are a few choices i can list them if you prefer a different kind

I have a cheaper solution for you OP if it helps a R6950 for running dual monitor setup if you want to run three though then you should go with a 3 or 4GB Card anyway here is the info for the 6950 $189.99

Thanks!

I'm willing to pay a bit more for the graphics card but I want to point out that I won't be playing that much games on my PC. I want a decent graphics card but not for hardcore gaming.

Yes i sincerely apologize i should have read your post more better i see you mentioned that well the Radeon HD 7950 3GB or GTX 670 will serve you well then both cards should also be decent for gaming and any other uses. on a three monitor setup :)

Since you will be getting a i7-3770 instead of the 3770k, you don't need a Z77 motherboard. The Z77s are for overclocking, the H77s are for regular cpus. I have done a lot of research on this because I also plan to get a 3770 instead of the k model because I don't want to tinker with overclocking. Here is the top rated Asus H77 motherboard, it also has intel turbo boost, there I just saved you $100! 🙂

Wow! Can you recommend me something that can fit my build?

I have updated the build components above based on the recommendations and suggestions that I received. Should I go ahead & purchase all the components or do you guys have any other suggestions?

I really appreciate your help!

Oh! Should I get the SABERTOOTH Z77 mobo? and as for the case, I like the NZXT Phantom more, do you think the components will fit?

yes you definitely should go ahead and buy all the components that you want.. but judging from the spec assume that you won't do overclocking and sli... would you mind consider these? apart from building such a large tower.. for your usage actually you can complete your build in a smaller footprint.... take a look..
