I have to admit I did think the inclusion of a gaming graphics card was a bit of a hint about the intended use , but hey you could be right it might be for office work and email

It will be used for gaming and school work and such until university.

I want to be able to play modern games better than what my my laptop can.
Then it will given to my parents when i move out, I may needXP mode for some of my parents older programs...

Spend the extra $20 and get Pro. It's better to spend a bit more to grab more features even if you're not going to use it right away, as someday you might.
Unless you have money to burn and don't give a damn then spend $99 for Win7 HP, then spend another $130 for Pro, when you could just spend the extra $20 bucks in the first place instead of spending $229. To spend $229, you might as well just go with Ultimate

Nice try, but those are just accessories and I can always purchase these extra items when I need it.
This isn't the same with software where you can buy a cheap version now and spend a few extra bucks to add additional features later on.

There is ZERO reason to pay for features you will never use .
