I am planning my first build and keep realizing I have no idea what I am doing. I am really appreciating the feedback I am getting here. Thank you!

I am ready to buy today if it makes sense or could wait for a bit if there are big component upgrades in hte near future.

My primary usage is the Adobe Design Suite, AutoCAD, Microsoft Project / Office Suite and gaming.

I'd like to build a unit that already has some future proofing built into it as well as the ability to upgrade in the future.

How does the MSI MPG B550 GAMING CARBON WIFI ATX AM4 Motherboard rate and should I consider something else?

Here is my current planned build:
  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor w/ Stock cooler
  • Motherboard: MSI MPG B550 GAMING CARBON WIFI ATX AM4 Motherboard
  • Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3600 CL18 Memory
  • Storage: Samsung 970 Evo 1TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive
  • Video Card: EVGA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER 8 GB BLACK GAMING Video Card
