Minecraft will be easily run on this PC.

In the list I have provided, next to the price it is written where you can get the parts. Then you can follow guides on how to build a PC or find a local shop who will do it for you for a fee.

What do you want included in that budget? Monitor, speakers? If so then you're best going for a used prebuilt. Then again, your son being 8 years of age, shouldn't be worried if he was working off of the iGPU or an APU. Would you happen to have an idea as to the sort of games you want your son to play?

What does he intend to play? Fortnite? Games like that?

The iGPU should be good enough for less demanding games at med to low at 1080p.

Yes games like fortnite is correct. And just the desktop is fine for that budget thanks for your help do you know best place to buy or where to look. Also he is interested in learning how to programme things into games like Minecraft I'm sure you know more than me on his limitations with this but just so he may be capable of this on the desktop

Thank you this is great help I get the idea that to get best for money is to buy necessary parts separate then build yourself or pay someone to build as with buying pre builds it's hard to trust what your getting. Thanks
