1st Gpu at pci express x16 and second at x2 means i cant crossfire.. Help

Mobo: Z97 Gaming 3
Gpu: Radeon r9 200 series
Cpu: Intel i7 4790k
The second Gpu should be running as a x4 but it isnt and i dont know why pls Help

Is there anything plugged into the x1 slots or the m2 slot?
Also, in the advanced section of your bios, there is a pcie lane configuration option to look into.

No there is nothing in the x1 slot or m.2 slot i use an ssd will that have and effect on it

Slots

• 1 x PCIe 3.0 x16 slot (PCI_E2, supports x16 speed)
• 1 x PCIe 2.0 x16 slot (PCI_E4, supports x4 speed)*
• 2 x PCIe 2.0 x1 slots
• 3 x PCI slots
* The PCIe x1 slots (PCI_E1, PCI_E3) will be unavailable when installing an expansion card in the PCI_E4 slot.

Not worth it, change motherboard if you want crossfire.
