hi going to be building my first pc build this week im stuk between 2 builds
even though both can be overclocked i dont wanna be overclocking just yet here they both are

intel
chip i5 4670k
motherboard msi z87m g43 or z87 g41 pc mate. will the micro atx board give my problems with large graphics cards my case will be atx/micro atx
memory 2133mhz 8gb memory
hard drive 1tb sata 6gbs ( will add a largish ssd at some point )
psu corsair cx 600w psu
case corsair spec 03 red case
drive cheap dvd rw

amd is same as above but with a 8350 and this motheroard is Asus M5A97 EVO R2.0 AMD 970

both build would have a r9 280x in them
budget is £ 450 without the graphics card
only 1080p gaming mainly

wich one would be best for upcoming next gen games and is there anything that could be improved for the budget or any problems anyone can see
going to be buying parts very soon any info or advice would be great thank you.

Well im an 8350 owner, but its a bit of a pain to overclock unless your going for premium mobo like asus crosshair.. but thats definitely a great cpu.
So go with the intel, and the only limatation you will have with the micro atx board is the lack of tripple SLI or tripple Crossfire.

yea i wont be cross firing maybe ever unless there is massive benefits from using a single good card wich mobo would be best for the i5? the micro puts me off a little just incase it has tight fitting. is there a better build for the budget or is this about right?

sorry was suppose to reply to you with the above comment new here didnt know how lol

Leaving aesthetics aside. A good mid tower case with a full atx board will give you more flexibilty and future expansions, aslo the range of cooling options will also become less limited.

Well, as of now im replying thru my phone. Later i'll post something for you.

ah ok great thanks

here

CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($234.97 @ OutletPC)

the case I provided can also be reference to other chassis that you may like.. just look at some comparisons, if the reviews are somehow compared to this, then it ok too.

for higher end case, just dont go over $120.00

thats ok i like any info/advice like i said though not really into oc just yet so feel a decent oc mobo and cooler isnt needed just yet i will look into it in 6+ months when i feel comfortable to. now just looking for single gpu good mobo wich will last 6+ months till i wanna oc and/or upgrade to i7 wanna save money now and spend later basically.
my budget is around 760-800 us dollars just for the build without a gpu if i could get better to what linked early for same price or if its good anyway for what i want would be good to know thank you

well your welcome,

theres a lot of threads here similar to your build, you will even find a mini itx build that will suit your liking, but im a mid tower kinda guy sooo ("kinda biased on that"), but poeple are always testing their rig and posting here.

good luck then.

yea i dont really want min itx wnt atx hence stuck between both board just the mini seemed better overall but it seemed it didnt matter about the advantage because i dont wanna oc yet anyway and when i do i would change the mobo thank you for your time anyway.
