Hello everyone! I am a first time pc builder, and am seeking out for advice and tips on both my pc build and the actual building process itself. Here is the current build-

Please let me know how I can improve it, particularly the addition and placement of case fans, etc. Additionally, I do not require a windows stick as I have an acquaintance who works at Microsoft that can get me one. Thanks in advance!

Solution
On a personal level I'd want an ssd in there.
Its the difference between a fast system & a very very fast system.

What kind of budget do you have left to spend??

The system itself is rock solid , the phanteks stock cooling will work ok for you as it stands.

If ypu want to really optimise case cooling there are 2 options depending on how much you want to spend.

Option 1 (cheaper)
Move the included 120mm rear exhaust to the front as an extra intake.
Buy a single 120mm fan & fit as a rear exhaust.
This gives 2 x 120mm intakes , 1 x 120mm exhaust - positive pressure setup.

Option 2
Move the included fromt 120mm intake to the top/rear position as an exhaust & buy a pair of 140mm fans & fit as front intakes.
This gives you 2 x 140mm...

Solution
^ Good Points.

Also note, that a new GPU release is around the corner, so you may want to wait for that just to consider your options. That said, the 1070 is still a good card that you cannot go wrong with.

Also, I am just a bit picky, but if you have got such good components, consider an 80+ Gold PSU?

Both of these are good.

Also, if you are on a tight budget, and want to do only gaming, and no overclocking, consider going for the 8400 to save some money.

1. you failed to mention what was your monitor resolution
