You are stuck with what they offer. I would prefer a better Motherboard to overclock that CPU, or even run it.

In this day and age a system of this price should have a lot better GPU than a Radeon 270. How much of that stuff do you actually need?

I can't be sure, but this is a good sketch of your parts. They are buying things bulk wholesale, so make money on the parts as well as assembly. I'm syre there are a couple of bits missing that would increase the bottom line here.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz 8-Core Processor ($167.99 @ Newegg)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Seidon 120V 86.2 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler ($49.99 @ B&H)
Motherboard:...
If you're going to spend that much, I would recommend you get a 280 or 290. Your processor (if you overclock it, which bulldozers are very good at) can easily handle a 280 or 290.
Also, I would recommend a better mouse. That mouse is, quite frankly, crap. If you are really into shooters I would recommend an optical mouse, and if you want side buttons for MMOS and RTS games then logitech and Razer have plenty to choose from. Don't fall into all that DPI marketing bullshit, you don't need any 12,000 dpi mice. Just get something that is well known to have an accurate sensor and fits your hand preference
If I were you, I would bump up the PSU to 700W, even without the 280 or 290. You can never have too much power, so its best to just get a 700w instead of getting a 600w and finding out that it doesn't cut it.
I would also recommend a different monitor. Asus is well known to have very good cheap montiors for gaming, and they would be better than the one you have listed.

I would also consider making the switch to team blue if your main objective is gaming AKA like a i5 4460. Much better framerates in all titles with going to an i5 vs any amd CPU. Better longevity and upgrade potential down the road. AM3+ is deadend road and they have announced a AM4 socket coming. just my opinion :)

However, there are a lot better choices for this money, but your supplier is unlikely to have or offer them. Too many parts are cheap, and the Fluid cooler is not an efficient use of the money. I'll post what the build COULD be when I get back from the Vet.

A lot better and still in budget.
