So I'm replacing my aged GTX 660 2gb with a GTX 1060 6gb today which I understand should give me a nice uplift in performance.
I've never replaced / upgraded anything in a PC before so just wanted to double check I've got the process for this right?
1. Uninstall NVidia Graphics Drivers
2. Shut down PC and remove GTX 660
3. Insert GTX 1060 and re-use the 6 pin power connector (no other connections I'm aware of)
4. Restart PC and once booted into windows, use NVidia GE Force Experience to download latest drivers for new card (I'm assuming it will auto-detect the new card?)
Is that it? Is it really this simple?!
