It's been $99.00 for a couple of weeks , the Hynix Gold at $105.00 is a better deal for $6.00 more.

I've used many MX500's in builds and upgrades, and even saw an actual 563 MB/sec sequential reads transfer number achieved in CrystalDIskMark.

I might pay $2-$4 more for a Samsung 860 EVO of similar size, but, would not do so for any other brands....

I've used a couple of these in build servers, at work. They've withstood a daily hammering and are still running fast.

Well, I used the term "server", somewhat lightly.

These are older (Haswell-E) workstations I upgraded with Broadwell-E CPUs and MX500 SSDs. Two of them, to be precise. We couldn't simply replace them, due to budgetary constraints, which is the same reason I went with that SSD.
