Hi team, I have recently taken apart my PC to give it a clean and noticed I have a 1TB WD hard drive installed. Amazingly this has only just occured to me in the 10+ years I have owned this PC, but the C: drive only lists 110GB free.

I have no unallocated partitions in disk management: View: https://i.imgur.com/bso7vv6.png

I haven't been able to find any solutions online. Any ideas what I can do here? Specs:

Windows 10
1TB WD HDD
1TB SanDisk SDD
16GB RAM

Cheers

That 111.79GB size is just right in binary for a 120GB model. Are you sure you're showing info for the 1TB drive?
Right-click on the area where the 111.79GB size is given, click Properties and see what it says about the model number.

Although 1 tb drives have been around for a while they werent used alot due to cost.

More than likely its a 120gig drive does it actually say 1tb or are you reading the wrong amount of zeros.

Hi all, thanks for the replies. I have checked the model number in Properties, it is the following:

WDC WD10EZEX-00WN4A0, which a quick Google seems to return a 1TB hard drive. I checked inside, 1TB is printed on the side of the hard drive.

Very odd!

Ah, I think I see the issue - you're both correct - I've got my wires crossed here. Looks like my SSD is 120GB, which is where i've installed my OS, and the hard drive is 1TB, which is showing correctly.

Just got it into my head that my SSD was already 1TB! It's been so long since I've installed it.

Thanks for the help anyway!
