I have 1TB WD HDD as primary drive. As it was running out of storage, i bought new Seagate 1TB drive.
When i first time attached it to pc, BIOS showed it as a 1000GB capacity but in disk management it showed it as 128GB.
I tried updating system drivers but no avail.
Now even in BIOS the storage is showing as a 128GB.
What should i do?
PS: When i tried to initialize the Seagate disk, i got I/O error.
Also in other thread there was a mention of a software which can restore Factory Hard Drive Capacity but was not able to try it out as it does not support Win 8.1.
