I mainly use it for gaming and occasionally Photoshop and video rendering. I currently have a 1tb HDD & like 125gb SSD. I'm looking into building a new comp & the price difference between the two setups is much closer than it used to be. So I figured it would be nice to have everything on the computer preform better. Just didn't know if there was any potential issues with solely using a SSD as my main source of storage. If not then that's the route I will go.

Personally, I prefer having the OS and applications on one drive, and working files on different drives.

My system currently has 6 SSD's.
1 for the OS and applications, other drives for other things.
If/when I need to reinstall the OS, none of the other data is affected.

Other people like the simplicity of a single drive.

For your PS and video use, I'd go with 2 SSD's, instead of the SSD+HDD.

Awesome! Yeah I do reinstall the OS from time to time just to get a fresh start, so that definitely makes since. Thanks, two 500gb SSD's is what I'll roll with.

The top one is the OS/applications. The others each have a specific use.
Photo, video+CAD, etc, etc...
