1TB SSD's when will the market drop?

I was looking to add on a couple 1TB SSD's to my system, but I'm not so sure if now is a good time to buy or wait til 1Q 2016. I am in no rush to fork over big bucks for this.

I like Pci-E speeds but the pricing is outrageous, my mobo doesnt have M2 port, so that leaves me with SATA. I was looking at 850 EVO pricing all around $400 each. give or take a few bucks.

Does anyone see the bottom dropping out on SSD's anytime soon?

I hope PCI-E becomes more popular so that pricing can drop. I was drooling at 2800Mb/s speeds some do.
