Can someone experienced give me advice if the 1TB hdd is enough for my needs ( gaming, photos storage, editing) or I should go with 4TB hdd?

Solution
hard to tell, how many games will you install? how many photos are you storing? how big of files are you editing?

You can never go wrong with more storage. If you can afford it get the larger drive.

I have 3 WD red 6TB drives. One of them is only for steam games, which has just over 4.4TB used of installed games. Another drive has all my Origin, Blizzard, Epic, and any other odd online game installed. The last drive stores any movies and photos and bulk storage that i might need.

Your question has no information on the details.

You could ask, I need a new vehicle what size do I need? One person might say a nissan versa, but you left out the part you have 7 kids and a dog, so now you need a much larger vehicle.

How much data do you currently have?
How often do you normally upgrade?

If you only have 200gb of data now a 1TB drive will be fine for a while.
Is this your OS/data drive or do you separate it out?

With the zero information you provided I would say get a 2TB NVME drive.

I got the 1Tb storage because I don't play a lot of games, and the rest can be used for photos storage

Thank you for ur advice, it did help to figure if I really wanted a lot of storage
