1tb WD black internal hd not showing in disk management,bios or anywhere on my computer?

I bought 1tb wd black hard drive to add additional storage for my desktop in U.S.I pack it on my carry-on bag when i travel back home.When i install it to my desktop,hard drive not showing in disk management,bios or any where.So,i take it to the computer shop to check whats wrong with the new hard drive.They interchange cables of old drive to new drive,power source still nothing.They said maybe its defective or Damaged during travel.is there a way to make it work/fix the hard drive?

It was likely damaged during transit. You may try some repair shops in your locality but repairing hdd is costly and you can get a new one for that price.
