Hello everyone,
I was wondering if there's a way to connect multiple storage devices (HDDs/SSDs) with only one SATA cable, if yes, what would I have to buy to do so?

Thank you for your awnsers in advance.

While these types of products exist, this is a bit beyond the scope of the OP's original question.

Regardless, BFG-9000 is spot on. Their usefulness really depends on the implementation (what/how many devices).

Yeah but those are used for servers, aren't they? If he is making a server clearly for storage then sure but it won't work if he is talking about normal PC with SSD booting and HDD reading at the same time.

It's just like those USB 2.0 motherboard header multipliers, for convenience rather than performance. One SATA cable goes in, and connects to five SATA devices. Power for the hub is supplied by floppy molex or USB.

If any IT person built me a server using one of these kluges I would fire them! It is too bad the OP never came back to explain why they wanted this specifically, as a 4-port SATA PCIe adapter would actually be cheaper.
