1x8 go 3000mhz or 2x4 2400mhz for the Ryzen 3 2200g apu

So I’m gonna build a pc for light gaming and I’m going to use the Ryzen 3 2200g because I’m on a budget and I can’t get a dedicated graphics card and this time. Anyway I was just wondering which Is better to get 1x8 gb memory stick clocked at 3000mhz or to get 2x4 2400mhz sticks for dual channel btw I’m using a ASRock AB350M Pro 4

dual channel give you double memory bandwidth in theory and hence improve the APU performance.

i would try if i can oc the 2400 to 2666 or higher with some loose timing.

Go with dual channel. Single-channel at a higher speed will still be worse than dual-channel at a lower speed, when it comes to Ryzen.
