Some video comparisons I have checked show significant performance improvements in terms of Fps like here:

So, in the end, is it worth getting another 8gb ram stick?

If it matters my CPU is i5 8300h

The mentioned user has a Gtx 1080 Ti and i5-8600K which is better then what I have, some said that the better specs result in a better performance bonus from dual-channel, but I don't know on what line does my spec stand given the mixed comparisons of videos which have the same GPU as mine.

I'd benchmark your ram and see where you are right now, and then figure out what a dual channel setup would be like and then make the call.
