1yr used Gigabyte WindForce OC GTX 770 vs New R9 280

I would like to purchase a new graphic card. The cheapest r9 280 is around 160 but this 770 is only 150. I havent negotiated yet but the seller has used it for one year. Is GByte's warranty transferable?

I will be playing games @ 1680x1050; NBA 2k15/BF4

I would suggest the GTX 770 but, I'm afraid you would have to change your name and enter the Nvidia relocation program.

Seriously..... both of those cards would do well for you so it is preference, mostly.

I mean I have a 7850K with a CX500. Would not rather rediscuss because there was a whole discussion whether or not a 280 would fit power-wise.

I noticed that the price drop has not been as significant at all when the 300 series came out, a little dissapointing that that last-gen cards are not far below what they are now... hence looking for a used 760/770 to keep the supply not dying in a year and still have cool temps/similar performance

gtx 770 stock, it better than r9 280 stock. with a medium overclock to r9 280, u can go easy over gtx 770.
