Good day! I've just purchased and USB flash drive 2.0 (sandisk cruzer force 32 GB). I tested formatted it as NTFS with an unit allocation size of 32 kilobytes. I want this USB flash drive only for HD/FULL HD movies in order to watch them on my tv. The problem is that it does not copy advertised or as tested with crystaldiskmark (tested for 16GiB file) (READ 22MB/s and write 14MB/s).
It starts with 100MB/s and quickly decreasing to around 4 MB/s (even then it's still decreasing but slowly).
What I have tried:
- Setting it to better performance
- Checking in BIOS if USB 2.0 is still active
- Disabled Legacy Support in BIOS
- Defragmentation (optimize) / checking for updates
I have tested it on 2 computers and in an USB 3.0 too and it does the same.
Can someone please help me with solving this problem or at least understanding what's going on?
