2.3Mbps download on Ethernet but 22mbps on wifi

this started maybe 2 months ago and i'm not sure why it has started happening. Also I don't know if this is because of my download speed over ethernet but when downloading things on Steam I get Kbps download speed. Any ideas would be very appreciated.

Are you sure you are not getting Bits and Bytes confused?
Some people get confused and over look this.

im talking about download speeds which is bits. I used to get around 20 mbps download like my laptop has over internet. please explain if im wrong as i dont know a lot about networking.

I just ask as 2.3MB is similar to 22Mbits

Maybe some anti virus?
Sometimes drivers go weird, try it while booting up in Windows Safe Mode with Network.
See what your speed is then

I tried booting into safemode and same issue.
and i dont habe any symptoms of a virus, no dice.

I ask you to download zhpcleaner and run that.
It is very strange, although I have known a reinstall of windows has been known to fix the problem. You can run a "repair" and it won't change your windows 10 settings/files, but may repair a network driver problem
