I'm looking at adding a second HD to my Acer vx 15 laptop. It currently has a 256 SSD. I'm really don't know what to go for. My main use is gaming and light video and photo editing. All 3 of the 1 TB models are within about 15 bucks of each other.
1 TB Black = 67 bucks
1 TB Barracuda = 55 bucks
1 TB Firecuda = 60 bucks
So here is my dilemma. The barracuda is the cheapest, but is 5400 rpm. The firecuda is only 5 bucks more and is SSHD, but does that really matter on a secondary drive? The black is the most expensive but is 7200 RPM. Will temp come into play with the black?
Which should I go with and why? Any help is appreciated.
