2 500Hb HD's and 2 2Tb HD's

Is there a wy for me to set up 2 Raid arrays with these drives and board?
Im thinking 1 1 TB and 1 4 TB.
Is this possible?

yes, you designate which drives to raid and the type of raid you want in the boards raid utility screen.

What type of raid are you trying to set up, and why?

Raid-0 is not the performance enhancer that most users think it is.
Raid-1, by itself does not solve data protection requirements efficiently.

Just tired of windows and the slow as heck file transfer rates im getting between drives...was thinking of just making 1 big logical drive . Not sure what I'll do.

Raid-0 has been over hyped as a performance enhancer.
Sequential benchmarks do look wonderful, but the real world does not seem to deliver the indicated performance benefits for most
desktop users. The reason is, that sequential benchmarks are coded for maximum overlapped I/O rates. It depends on reading a stripe of data simultaneously from each raid-0 member, and that is rarely what we do.
The OS does mostly small random reads and writes, so raid-0 is of little use there.
There are some apps that will benefit. They are characterized by reading single large files in a sequential manner.
Apps that copy data from one file to another perform better if you can arrange the input on one drive, and the output on the other. That way, there is a minimum of access arm stealing.

For the OS, nothing compares to a SSD. The os does random i/o, and a ssd does random exceptionally well. About 50x what the best hard drive can do.
For random i/o, all current ssd's perform about the same in a os/desktop environment.
Look first to Intel or Samsung 830 first for reliability. 60-80gb ssd will hold the os and a few apps, and it will rejuvinate your pc.
