2 980's 3 monitors......

I have 2 nvidia 980s and 3 monitors, I wanted too know where i should plug them into.. 2 into the first card and 1 in the 2nd? Or all in the first card. Also, what connections would you recommend.. All dvi, or all display port?

it should be fine to connect to wherever, but the first card is preferable.

All 3 displays need to be plugged into the main card. I don't believe you can split them up when in sli like that.

I believe thats the way it works in crossfireX, and in SLI you can connect to wherever.

Dose not matter where you plug the monitors in, as long they are the videocards and not the motherboard that is
