Is it also necessary to purchase another copy of JTL for 2 accounts?

UO is a product that is going on what?, 7 plus years now?

SWG is still relatively new. JTL is its first ever expansion.

So what is the point of two accounts? Are yougoing to make an Imp and reb
and go head to head to see which is better?

Among many other things, having two accounts means you can try out
more professions without dropping ones you already have. You can also
run both characters at the same time in cooperation ("two-boxing") to
make it easier to handle hard opponents (very popular in at least
Everquest). E.g. your bounty hunter/teras kasi artist might
want a doctor in their pocket, things like that.

Well there are advantages to it considering SWG only allows you to roll one
character per server. Only way you gain another slot is if you open up a
force slot.

Some players these days run duo accounts. It's mighty handy to have your
own personal Buff bot aka doctor or entertainer when the need arises.

Yup,

I thought people that had 2 accounts were crazy when I started .....now I am
one of them. It's awesome never having to wait in line for a buff. Also, I
can now have a pure fighter template while having moved my merchant and
surveying skills to my alternate account.
