I enjoy listening to music while I play games on my PC, and am trying to work out a solution where I can have a "hub" of sorts to manage all the inputs and outputs. The end goal is to be able to combine the game audio and my music and send both of them to either my speakers or my headset. Below are all the details of the hardware. Please let me know if I can answer any questions.

Inputs:
1. Game audio
a. Comes from PC through 3.5mm line out jack

2. Music audio
a. Comes from Ipad through 3.5mm 3.5mm line out jack

Outputs:
1. Speakers
a. Bose Companion 2 Series II
b. 2 sets of RCA red and white jacks

2. Headset
a. HyperX Cloud Core Headset (KHX-HSCC-BK)
b. 1 3.5mm connector (which can be split into separate headphone and microphone connectors)

The speakers support 2 inputs out of the box and was easy enough to configure, but the headset is where I'm running into trouble. I cannot find a way to get it to accept multiple inputs and still have the microphone be functional.

It all depends on the mixer you use, in Amazon there are many and some are pure 3.5mm jack for simple things and others have pure 6.5mm inputs, it is depending, I think there are even audio cards that you connect to a USB input and you can include more devices :s
