Cool story bro. Meanwhile desktops will render real-time photo-quality surround holographic games and perform calculations that supercomputers do today. Toys stay toys no matter the progress; remember that.

Although I know its a futile hope, I would be nice if the smaller processor companies didnt get eaten my the giant ones. More companies means more competition, more innovation, and lower prices!

I actually hope Intel will consume and dissolve ARM... that'd be funny, as crazy as it sounds.

[citation][nom]jn77[/nom]So where is my 16 core mobile CPU with ATI Raedon 6990 GPU and 8gb of ram and 10TB in storage space?[/citation]
I can make a random comment about nothing too.

Did you read the article? There not talking about 16-core processors, there talking about the 16 processor companies entering a major boom in mobile processors.

That was a figure of speech.... Right now, mobile processor companies have 4 core mobile CPU's. With all the "additional" competition, I would expect to see the speed at which they turn over processors increase... Makes Sense? SO when will the 16 core mobile processors be out on the market? When I said 16 I was not referring to the "16" companies that make the "mobile processors"

Ya`ll should child here, you know what? Take a look at T-pain "5`o clock in the morning feat. Wiz khalifa" then tell me what you think of his iPhone?
