So I have this Ryzen without 2 pins a friend gave me. I tried to post without them but it didn't work (CPU error).
I have pins I can take from an old AMD CPU.

I was thinking about buying a cheap secondhanded motherboard (Gigabyte GA-A320M S2H V2) for 30€ and try boot it inserting two pins in the socket and try them to make contact with the processor.
Is there a risk of damaging any components when doing this? Is there a better way to fix it? Should I try to weld the pins from the older CPU or use copper and try to weld it?
Is that motherboard enough for that CPU (I might OC it a bit)?
Thank you. I know this is all stupid, but I'm in a budget so I need to use my resources.

PSU: TX750M

you can try soldering the pins but it's not for the faint of heart and excess heat will damage the CPU - (welding not recommended)

Your idea to insert 2 pins into the motherboard may not be a bad idea, but I wouldn't sacrifice another processor for that, but instead just use some small pieces of wire.

You can get solder pens and similar things to temporarily fix traces and stuff like that, but you may be able to get it to work well enough with the wire and missing pins.

The other thing to do is to find some cell phone repair places and see if they can solder 2 wires on for 30€. That might actually be your best bet as they will have the right equipment for the precision work.
