Due to various mishandlings, I am left with two computers that have their VGA ports broken in some way, shape, or form. I know of the existence of VGA to USB connectors, but I'm having an issue determining exactly what it is that I can do in order to be able to view things once again, so in short my real question is "With a broken VGA port, what can I do to be able to connect my monitor to the computer and receive picture :3" (the quality does not have to be perfect)

P.S : Both computers are older machines with one having Win XP installed on it, and the other with Vista.

Solution
Since your computers are older, you could just go on Ebay and find a older used card if you want. Just make sure that the GPU drivers are available for whatever you choose, since you're talking about Windows XP and Vista.
Are the VGA ports the only video ports? Are the VGA ports directly from the motherboard or are they coming from a video card? Either way, the obviously solution is you could purchase an inexpensive video card for each computer. I don't know much about the VGA to USB connectors that you mentioned except on Lenovo laptops I've used at work have a port replicator option to connect them to external monitors. I honest think you'd be better off with the video card route.

How can I go about purchasing the right video card for these computers? And you guys said it doesn't matter if they're coming from the motherboard or video card? One computer is from the vidcard and the other is from the motherboard - See more at: http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2695900/computers-broken-vga-ports.html#16122131
