Hello tomshardware communuty,
I am uslng amd radeon hd 6850 1gb as my graphics card and i want to add another screen but i cant because i dont have and cant find a dvi24+1 to vga connector and i already use dvi 24+5 so my question is if i can add my low powered nvidia geforce 7200 gs 128mb to my asus p5kc motherboard so i can add another screen with its vga and use both monitors as different desktops
Thanks alot.

Solution
Yes you can, but trust me, you don't want to. Drivers are a headache to figure out.

If you are feeling adventurous, go ahead and give it a try, nothing really to lose.

Hi guys,
Its the first time that im ask something here..so sorry if im do something wrong due to this site rules..and also my English not the best ...
I'm planning to upgrade my c2d machine to used q6600 with the p5kc mb...
I'm was planning to do sli or something then I'm understand that i cant cause its ready to ati cross fire ...im have some nvidia8/9xxx cards and im want to use 3 screens..( different/same at time.. Or 2 same and 1 different...)
Can i do anyway the bridged nvidia sli between them with this board? And if i can't sli.. Can im at least do what im writin with 2 8/9xxx nvidia cards and with the ( different..)3 screens?? And if so,how?? Just install the 2 different driver" together"?!
Hope that its clearly enough to you guys...
Thanks a loottt!!!!!!

It depends on your OS. Windows 8 is supposed to be able to support two video drivers. Some motherboards support Lucid Virtu and it may combine your video card and iGPU. Lucid Virtu is not well received. It just doesn't work that well.
It is just not efficient to run two video cards just for two monitors. The amount of electricity it takes and the heat it generates. Just run a single video card with a DVI and VGA or HDMI. I am more concerned about the heat.
