So after one of my PSu's failed i ordered a Corsair vs650 PSU to replace it. When it came i installed it and after a while it began making an obnoxious grinding noise, i shutdown, inspected the psu and made sure that no zip ties, cables or anything like that were touching the fan in there. Reinstalled it and booted. Same again. I presumed it was faulty and had a bad bearing in it so i contacted amazon and they sent me a new one and i sent that one back. ive installed the new one. its making the SAME noise. Im 995 sure its the PSU as from touch it is vibrating and nothing around it is. Have i been incredibly unlucky and purchased 2 faulty PSUs or have i overlooked something and that could be the cause of the sound? any response would be greatly appreciated

Solution
The problem could lie on the power coming to the power plug of your house. The power coming to your house from the power grid must be dirty. meaning that it must be reaching your house full of electromagnetic noise. Try to plug the PC on a extension with surge protection and see how it goes.
