Question 2 drives connected, 2 others appear

I swapped my old hard drive with an SSD but kept it for backups, but 2 others appeared, a "Recovery" that has nothing in it but is full, and another local disk which I cannot even open, I need permission and there is no security tab in it's properties. What's going on?

Those are not drives but partitions. They are normally hidden but moving disks around could have removed the hidden option from them.

Open Disk Manager and check there for the real configuration of the drives.

when I check there, it only shows my SSD and hard drive, not any others, but they still appear in This PC and I still get bugged by a blinking red light saying "disk low".

OK, so you have hidden partitions showing, if the space warning is for those partitions, that is not an issue. You can simply set them to be hidden again https://www.laptopmag.com/articles/hide-recovery-partition-windows-10
