2 drives on sata to ide connector

hi guys, sorry if this is a stupid question but i cannot seem to find the awnser.

ok, im upgrading a pc for a friend, he wants to keep his 2 ide dvd drives and 2 ide hdd's i ordered 2 of those sata to ide converters because he only has sata ports now on the new board, but i have soon realised the error of my ways, is it possible even to run 2 drives off one converted to ide port as master and slave? or must i purchase 2 more converters so that each drive can run on its own converter?
