Total Noob question here.

I already have a dual channel 667mhz 2gb kit, lets say if i wanted anther 2gb do i need the same memory kit, does it have to be the same speed ect, If i put a 2gb 800mhz kit in aswell, what impact would that have, especialy with over clocking. I dont want to buy to be let down

All the installed memory will run at the fastest speed compatible with every module, so in effect your slowest module will slow everything else to its speed.

Also, unless you are running a 64-bit OS, your OS will only be able to address about 3 GB of the total (plus or minus) due to the 4GB address space limitation.

Some MBs are pickier than others about having similar/identical modules. Intel chipset MBs tend to be less picky, especially the newer ones. AMD socket 939 and AM2 seem a bit more picky, perhaps since the memory controller is in the CPU.
