2 Dual Channel RAM Kits = 1 Quad Channel?

Solution
Why the hell did I read laptop... My bad. So if the motherboard supports quad channel (X series) then if you put 4 RAM modules in channel 1 or channel 2 (assuming it has 8 dimms) then they will run in quad channel, that is if they run. Manufacturers sell memory in kits because sometimes two identical memories refuse to work together, so there is no guarantee that the 2 kits will run together, even if they are the exact same model. But if they run together without a problem then they will run in quad channel.

It's not a laptop, it's a desktop. :D And the MoBo supports quad channel.
