I have an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250 graphics card on my laptop. I have 2 external monitors plugged in, one through hdmi and the other through vga. The computer can see both, but I can only activate 2 of my 3 screens at one time. Either 2 externals, or 1 external and laptop screen.

I do web design and development and to me more screens is more love :) so is there any open source firmware, or any other way to get both external ports AND the laptop screen to work at the same time?

It's almost impossible to find a laptop that allows onboard monitor plus two external monitors at the same time.
Even getting two external monitors working is hard to find. It generally involves either a USB video adapter or a multi-monitor splitter like the Matrox Dual-Head2Go.

Many people would be interested to know exactly what model computer you have and what version of Windows.
Could you post that?
