2 GPU huge temperature difference

Ok，i have 2 hd 7970 Direct CU II
The older one has 65c in furmark，the new one has 79c in furmark，ambient temp 27.5c，both cards are clean as ****，same grease，same fan speed and i don`t use them in cf configuration，just 1 monitor per GPU. What can be wrong with the new one?

The top card should run hotter because the hot air from the bottom card rises into the top card.

As I mentioned before I DON`T use them in CrossFire!

You DONT have to run them in Xfire their both in the PC RIGHT!

Are you kidding me? Who on this earth use two gpu without cross/sli them? I have more than 1 pc ok?

People that need more monitors... think about what you say before you say it please.
The airflow is probably not as good in the other case, or the thermal paste isn't so good on the hotter one.
