I was thinking about buying a graphics card but i keep wondering that is it better to buy 1 gtx 1060 6gb or 2 gtx 1050ti 4gb? Im going to play games like csgo, battlefield 1, cod ww2, pubg and fortnite. Both of those options cost around 400€ (495$)

Solution
Biggest con you missed N3rdR4ge is that the GTX 1050 Ti does not support SLI. So unless all you play is Ashes of the Singularity, it's impossible to run any other games with those two cards together.

So the 1060 6GB is a no brainer.
always better to have 1 stronger gpu than 2 weaker ones, even if the weaker ones add up to more performance.

downsides of 2 cards:
-memory does not double if you have two cards. 4gb+4gb=4gb.
-more heat
-bigger power bill
-less compatibility with games. some cant even handle two cards and drop you down to 1.
-additional configuration steps, sometimes needing to be changed per game.
-more likely to have micro stuttering.

probably missed a few cons, thats just off the top of my head.

SLI isn't supported on GTX1050, 1050Ti, or GTX1060. So unless you are playing the few games that support Explicit Multi-GPU through DX12, it won't help at all. (not to mention the games that don't support SLI in the first place)

What are your current specs?
In particular, cpu and psu.
GTX1050ti is very close in performance to GTX1060 3gb.

GTX1060 6gb has more cuda cores and is stronger than the 3gb version.
You will need a stronger psu for GTX1060.
For your games, you may find that your cpu is what limits your performance.

Very good point. I forgot about that one.
