2 Gtx 970's or aGtx 980

I already own 1 GeForce gtx 970 and I have money for one more gtx 970. I was wondering if iy would be better to buy 1 more gtx 970 or save the money and buy a gtx 980

a overclocked 970 compares to a stock 980, if your going to upgrade id go to a 980ti
I just bought my 970 off of a guy that had 2 of the 970's sli'd, he was selling cause not many games support sli, he was selling both his 970's and getting a 980ti

Wrong. A shit ton of game support sli. All the triple A title that have released oh i dont know since 2010 basically support sli. Battlefields, tom clancy division, bioshocks, crysis, cod, skyrim, witcher, watch dogs, shadows or mordor, far cry etc etc i can list ALOT more that support sli just fine. More and MORE games every year support sli. Any new game coming out thats considered a AAA title will have sli support. Now you may come across some low budget no name games that dont but thats expected. Get another 970. 2 970's would put you on par or surpass a titanX and 980ti.
