2 issues with Logitech G930. Every 5-10 minutes audio cuts off and the battery is drained quickly.

So my case is a NZXT H440 which has 2 USB 2.0 and 2 USB 3.0 ports on the front. It doesn't have to be gaming but whenever the headset is ON it lasts like 10 minutes on the 2.0 ports and around 5 minutes on the 3.0 ports. Also I noticed that my battery is drained very quickly(maybe because it keeps constantly disconnecting?). I will play for around 3 hours when the headset is fully charged(the G930 has a 10 hour battery) annnnd I only have one hour left the next day. Never had these issues on my old computer.

To those with the Maximus VII Hero and the NZXT H440, are those plugs in the right spot?

Solution
I can give you some insights. I also have the Logitech G930 Headset and I can tell you that there is a BUG in the latest version of the Logitech Gaming Software (LGS) that causes the headset to turn off after about 5 min. I noticed it after I updated my driver and say, "No Way". It's a known issue and has been around for a few weeks. The only solution is to uninstall the driver and use the previous version. I use v8.58.183.

As for the fast draining.. if your headset is over a year old and if you've used it on a daily basis... then it's possible that you just need to replace the battery. You can order it for $10 from Logitech (with screwdriver) or from Amazon for a few bucks more...
