I want to hard wire a modem to my TV to enable uninterrupted internet service. I currently have one modem in my house, but since connecting a Netgear Powerline 1000, my Amazon Fire Stick says it can't connect to the internet. Interestingly enough, most of my other apps connect to the internet with no problems. Can I hardwire a second modem to the TV from my internet?

Solution
It may help if you put in how the house network layout looks like and what the powerline adapter runs. The Fire Stick should be running off the WiFi connection so the power line device should not affect that. Another thing, the Fire Stick uses it's own connection, not the TV's, so wiring a modem to your TV won'd do anything for that.
