I have a lenovo laptop, and recently acquired a hdmi to vga adapter so i can get 3 total displays on my laptop:
1 output with vga
Laptop display
1 output with hdmi with another vga screen
I have a i5-4210M and Intel HD 4600, which says it supports 3 screens
and if it helps i have a GTX 850M as the dedicated.
I brought this from amazon:
HDE Converter From this exact seller
and what happens is that my laptop recognizes the screen and adapter but on the screen there is only black, and once in a while it flashes what sort of appears to be my laptop's output and a lot of other noise like red/blue/green lines and such.
I checked, the screen cables and everything is all working, but i did not check the adapter itself.
Is there anything I can do to make this work, or something that can help me check if I am doing something wrong. If anyone needs me to add more info i can always.
Thanks,
Harry
