So i have a evga gtx 1080ti ftw3 and i run a 4k monitor as my main.now i want to run a second one,but that one is a simple 1080p resolution monitor. Will that still work or not? Its just so i can see all my temps of my gpu and cpu while gaming nothing else

Solution
Modern Windows does allow running monitors at very different resolutions and refresh rates. I would suggest choosing the same font size (the 100%-125%-150% setting) for both or else there will be a noticeable lag and resize when dragging things from one monitor to another. Often people prefer a larger size for readability at 4k and this shouldn't look too cartoonishly large at 1080p, compared with if your 2nd monitor was a 480p projector.
