Hey, I just have a few questions before I shut down and connect an old monitor as a second. Right now I'm using my 32" 1080p tv as my only monitor. Outside of games it doesn't look the best, but it's what I have. I also have my old 19" lcd monitor with a max resolution of 1280 x 1024 that I'd like to get hooked up before Skyrim comes out. In the end I want to be gaming on the 32" tv while being able to have google up on the 19" screen on the side. -How hard or easy is this gonna be? I've heard of UltraMon, but haven't really read much about it yet. -Will I need it or something like it? Will I have to set up the 19" lcd as the main monitor? Of course, the whole time I want to be using the 32" at 1080p and the 19" at 1280 x 1024. Is there anything else I should know before I get started with this? Thanks for all your help and info.

I wish it was that easy. We've been talking about it HERE ...but there is a problem when clicking on one screen from another when the resolutions are different. If monitor 1 is in fullscreen and I click on something on monitor 2 the 1st screen usually does something odd, and will at least minimize itself. It's really not what I was hoping for. Does anyone have any way of totally fixing this? I've been told in the other thread to play in -windowed mode and then maximize the window. -That won't look the best either. Thanks guys.

I run a 37" Tv as my main screen and a 20" monitor together in that exact set up off the same card, the only issue is when you are gaming at full screen on the TV and click in the monitor the game minimizes, I do not know how to fix that or if you can but I have had this set up for so long (going on 3yrs) that it does not bother me having to pause and minimize the game to do somthing on the other screen.

odd...

i run a 1920x1080 40" television as my main monitor but at one point in time i had my 1600x1200 20.1" monitor hooked up as a second screen. when i put games in fullscreen the cursor just would not leave the fullscreen monitor. i fixed this by just having the game window stretched to fit (with title bar and border).
