Can i extend picture on 2 VGA monitors with splitter that splits dvi to 2x vga?

I used 1 monitor since now with dvi to vga adapter, so i wanna know if i split this dvi into 2x vga will it work on extend mode and not duplicate picture?

I'm thinking it will duplicate because essentially you are taking one signal and making it two identical signals.

That will depend on the adapter! A more common suggestion would be to improve your image quality by getting digital monitors, but that's an expense.

so second option is to take hdmi to vga and put it into other monitor and let this one be on same adapter?
