As the title says. This is a PC that's has been working flawlessly for probably 2 months and randomly shut off during a gaming session. The PC power turns on but no display. Ive tried alot of things I'll mention:

-Tried each ram stick separate and diff slots
-Removed video card and plugged HDMI directly into Mobo
-Reseated the PSU connections to the Mobo
-removed the CMOS battery for a few mins
-tried a diff monitor

My guess is either the PSU or Mobo which I'll check them later today, but is there any advice or help I could get?

Edit: sorry forgot my specs
PSU: thermal take smart series 500w
CPU: 9400f i5
GPU: rtx 2070 msi
Mobo:
ASRock B365M Phantom Gaming 4 LGA 1151 (300 Series)
Ram: 16gb 2x 8gb's

PSU. There are different versions of the MSI 2070 but they all pretty much say 550-600 watt psu. And a good one, but they are hard to find right now for the proper price.

The onboard iGPU is not going to draw nearly the power the 2070 does.
keep in mind this is a old build that has been working awhile now and i know 500w was running it.

ok so i made some discoveries. the 9400f i5 does not have a onboard graphics card so i grabbed an old rx 480 gpu and tried and same deal, no dice. Does this seem like a mobo issue?

ya i tried another cable [dp and hdmi] and my other monitor as well. i noticed after i took the cmos out and put it back in the pc shuts off instantly now when pressing the power button on the case when before it still needed to be held for 10 seconds so theres that....

Edit: ok I tried my 700w PSU. No dice. :( This is getting aggravating
