2 nics 2 networks work as 1

I built my own computer
Intel Core(TM) 2 Quad CPU Q8300 2.50 GHz

Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

PCI
intel pro/1000 mt desktop adapter

Onboard
Realtek PCIe GBE Family Adapter

My connections are Fiber Optic

and TWC Cable Modem

I want to configure both cards to increase my speed.

I know my fiber is fast enough but really is there really a thing called fast enough.

Right now 1 card has a subnet on 255.255.255.0

and the other is
on 255.0.0.0.

Anybody out there know how to work both as 1?
