Hi, I have a project I'm working on. I'm using a 6700k and a 1070 ti in a loop. The loop is being rebuilt in a new case that can only fit one 240mm radiator where I was using two and I have noctua fans. I have 2 Noctua NF-F12 PWM chromax-1500 and 5 Noctua NF-P12 redux-1700 PWM

The build will not be heavily oc'd and was wondering if the two noctua F-12 1500rpm chromax would be enough or should I do push/pull with 4x P12 1700rpm redux, or will the results be similar?

If I can use two fans would be better for room but if the push pull will see a significant difference then I'd go push/pull

Solution
Two F12's is probably sufficient, honestly.

While the redux in push/pull *might* give you marginally better temps, I'd expect it would be negligible. Comparable to any other push/pull vs push OR pull config. Typically fairly negligible.

BUT, if you have all the fans currently, why not just try both options & see how you fare?

Solution
Now with that said I'd like to use the redux because the build I'm doing is silver/gray and if the standard noctua and chromax is the same quality I can sell the chromax and keep the radiator just in a push config with the redux.

Yeah... That's what I'm going to do... Sell the chromax and run 2 redux on the rad. The redux is 1700mps. Made up my mind!
Thank you.
