Hello,

first, Specs:

[cpp]RAM: Mushkin Silverline 2x4 GB 10666 DDR3 (I bought 2 of these...)
MOBO: Asus m4a78t-e DDR3 Capable, max 16 GB
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 945
HD: Hitachi 500 GB HD
O/S: Windows 7 SP1, Fresh Install[/cpp]

Problem: ONLY 8 GB (2x4 GB) installed in the first 2 of 4 slots is working. When I add another 8GB to the remaining 2 slots, PC does not start up.

What do I have to do? Please help!

Are my 2 slots deactivated? Or what do I have to do to BIOS to recognize and use all 16 GB?

I have ruled out Bad memory, as I have tested all sticks individually in the first 2 slots... they work fine.

Just Slots 3 and 4 Don't work. Please help! Is it a bad motherboard, or do I need to Update BIOS or reset CMOS?
